Meet Our Gap-Year
2025-2026 Interns

Eliana Burgin - Clinical Services Intern

Picture
Eliana Burgin recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Davidson College with a B.S. in Psychology and English. At Davidson, she received an Honors in Psychology having successfully completed and defended her undergraduate thesis “A Meta-Analysis of Anger in Social Anxiety Disorder.” As a PFA intern, Eliana hopes to gain valuable hands-on experience in community mental health outreach and initiatives. She hopes this will expand her knowledge of accessibility needs and gaps in mental healthcare. While interning for PFA, Eliana will be working on graduate school applications to pursue  her PhD in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, Eliana enjoys reading, writing, playing video games, and spending time with her friends, family, and dogs!

Vivian Workman - Community Engagement Intern

Vivian Workman is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with majors in Psychology and Biology and a minor in Creative Writing. During her time as an undergraduate student, she worked in various psychological research roles and ultimately aims to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a particular interest in serving trauma-affected individuals. Vivian is also passionate about mental health care accessibility and is excited to be a part of PFA. As an intern, she hopes to connect with fellow community members and gain a deeper understanding of clinical work and clinical services accessibility. In her free time, Vivian enjoys practicing yoga, reading and writing poetry, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
